OPIS already uses Hachette Learning Mathematics and Science titles across Grades 7–10. This pilot builds on an established content relationship rather than introducing an unfamiliar curriculum.
OPIS wants to explore adaptive, personalised learning experiences that help students engage more deeply with trusted classroom content.
A safe, focused environment for Hachette to test how its high-quality content can be made more interactive, adaptive and measurable through Mappi’s AI learning platform.
Mappi digitises and structures the selected Hachette content into a complete interactive course experience:
Hachette, GUtech, OPIS and Mappi select the subject, grade, title and pilot scope. Hachette provides approval and access to the selected content for the pilot. Mappi can move rapidly once the content scope is agreed.
Mappi prepares the course environment and supports teacher and student onboarding at OPIS at the beginning of the school year. Mappi will travel to Oman to support implementation and ensure a strong classroom start.
Students and teachers use the solution in a real classroom setting. Mappi and GUtech follow usage, engagement and feedback, then evaluate the results jointly with Hachette and OPIS.
Mappi evaluates pilots using structured success measures refined through pilots and school collaborations across markets including Sweden, Norway, Germany and the United States. The OPIS pilot will assess classroom adoption, student engagement, teacher feedback, learning behaviour and the potential for a longer-term content and technology partnership.
Agree the title, year group and subject. Launch at OPIS in Muscat. Learn together in 4–6 weeks what an AI-enhanced Hachette learning experience can unlock.
